You’ve been told your whole life that you’re too much.
- Too emotional
- Too sensitive
- Too reactive
Maybe you’ve even started to believe it. You question yourself. You overthink your reactions. You wonder why things affect you so deeply…when other people seem so unaffected. And at some point, you start asking yourself.
“Why am I like this?”
You notice everything:
The shift in someone’s tone. The energy in a room. The difference between what people say…and what they actually mean. You replay conversations in your head. You carry emotions that don’t even belong to you. And no one ever taught you how to turn that off.
So instead…
- you internalized it
- you tried to shrink it
- you tried to fix yourself
THE TRUTH
What if the problem was never you? What if you’re not too sensitive. You’re just highly aware?
Awareness is the ability to see, feel, and understand more than most people do. And when you don’t know how to manage that, it doesn’t feel like a gift. It feels like overwhelm. It feels like anxiety. It feels like emotional exhaustion. Not because something is wrong with you, but because no one ever taught you what to do with what you feel.
Awareness without discipline becomes suffering
Once you learn how to understand it, everything changes. You stop blaming yourself. You stop absorbing everything around you. You start recognizing what’s yours and what isn’t. You become more grounded. More clear and more in control of your inner world.
This space isn’t therapy.
It’s a place for awareness, clarity, and real conversations about understanding yourself. I share from both professional experience and personal insight, but this is a space for growth, not treatment.
You’re not too sensitive.
You’re highly aware.
And it’s time you learn how to use that.
